Drop Radar

Privacy Policy

How DropRadar handles information.

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Information stored on your device

Saved releases, followed artists, and optional local profile details are stored in your browser. DropRadar does not currently provide account sync. You can remove this data by clearing the site data in your browser.

Information you submit

If you use the contact form, DropRadar receives the name, email address, topic, and message you provide. This information is used to review and respond to your request. If you subscribe to release alerts, Buttondown receives the email address you submit so it can provide those updates. The detailed signup on the Contact page also asks for your consent before it sends your address.

Service providers

The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify may process technical request information needed to deliver the site and contact form submissions. Buttondown processes newsletter signups and sends release-alert emails. Each provider handles that information under its own privacy terms.

Analytics and advertising

DropRadar uses PostHog product analytics only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It records anonymous interaction events such as page views, searches, filters, saves, calendar exports, newsletter attempts, streaming-service exits, and disclosed affiliate-link clicks. DropRadar does not send newsletter email addresses, contact-form contents, saved-release lists, or local profile details to PostHog. Session replay, keystroke capture, advertising profiles, and sensitive-form capture are disabled.

Your analytics choice is stored on this device. You may withdraw consent and clear the anonymous analytics identifier at any time.

External links

DropRadar links to services and sources operated by third parties. Their privacy practices apply after you follow those links.

Retention and choices

Contact messages may be retained as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, or resolve a correction. You can unsubscribe from release alerts using the controls in an email from DropRadar, or use the contact form to request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted.

Children

DropRadar is not directed to children under 13, and the site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date.
